BP - thank you for your post. It all depends on how far in advance your resort allows you to reserve a week. For example, most resorts do not allow you to reserve a week to use or deposit with an exchange company more than one year in advance. If your resort has this rule, that means if you want to deposit your 2008 week today, you couldn't reserve it further than October 17, 2008.

Some resorts allow their Owners to reserve up to two years in advance, that means you could reserve a 2009 week up to September 17, 2009.

How about for a fixed week? If I wanted to deposit my 2009 week could I get a bonus? Right now if I deposited my 2008 week I qualify for the 3 for 1 bonus.

I ask because we are considering SW Florida in early 2009 and the time to start looking is soon.
