    I checked off the box requesting email notification (just checked and it is still checked off), yet I did not receive notification of yesterday's update. Could you check on this? Is it me or system wide?

    I never get notices of any kind from SFX anymore, and I'm a platinum member. Are we supposed to get notices about the sell-off lists?

      Wackymother - please login, then click Profile.... please make sure we have your current email address, and please make sure vacations@sfx-resorts.com and accounts@sfx-resorts.com are in your "Friendly-list" in your email address book.

      For quite a long time now, we haven't sent out an email notice with the Sell-off list, where you had to phone-in during business hours (8am-5pm PST).... ask if it was still available, then book it.

      That method stopped when we improved the system by creating a live interface where you can login 24/7, see immediately what is available and book it in real-time.

      If you login , then click Specials, you will see you can now check a box if you want to be sent an email notice every time there is a change to the list. A changed is defined as additional units being added and/or price reductions.

      This feature is great for people who have time to travel more than a week or two a year, or for those looking for great deals for their friends or family as their guests.

        Did not respond to my original post.
        While I don't believe you need to be a platinum member to receive the email, I am a platinum member and must admit I appreciated the early notice more than I appreciate the ability to book on line. It was one of those little perks that made paying worthwhile

          CHS225 - thank you for your post and input. We are in agreement with you, and this is why we have added a check-box, that when checked, you will receive an email heads-up of an updated Sell-off list signifying additional units and/or price reductions.

          Please login, then click Special and check the box to receive email notification.

            Hi, I also am not receiving the email. I checked on the SFX website and I do have that checked in the Specials page. I also checked my email account and I have vacations@sfx-resorts.com & accounts@sfx-resorts.com on my "friendly" email list. I am a platinum member and I use to receive the specials email as well as any other ads. Thanks.

              I am obviously not expressing myself very well.
              On Sept 6, I checked the box to receive emails. As of today the box is still checked for me to receive emails.
              However, I did not receive emails for the Sept. 7 or the Sept.17 updates.
              Is the email notification system working?? It is not for me!

                I also am not getting the email notice of the updated sell-off list even though I have it checked off.

                With the number of responses of not getting emails, there seems to be something wrong with the system.

                  With regards to the new check-box feature, the update was only sent out today. Did you check your email inbox today?

                    I, too, have not received any email for the sell-off list updates. I just checked, and I have received no email from SFX today -- I checked my junkmail filter mailbox as well.

                    I have marked all email coming from sfx-resorts.com as "friendly", and I have received other email from SFX previously.

                    It does indeed seem like something is not being sent out from the SFX side.
