what to expect from BONUS week?

I am new to timeshares and sfx, i did a deposit into sfx which got a bonus week.
i found the link to request but i can not find info on what it is , how it works & what it should pull
1. any info on how bonus weeks work? Can I search available like RCI?
2. costs? do they vary?
3. should my bonus week have the same pulling power as my deposited week?
4. I also believe i qualified for the 3 in 1... what about Mexico, I do not see anything on the search links.

5. 100 other questions....

Charlie - thank you for verifying your account with us.

1. A bonus week works the same as a regular exchange request. You would simply login to your SFX account and place a request for where and when you would like to go.

You cannot view online inventory as you can with certain other exchange companies, as our business model is different. The only space you see available with other companies, is space they have no requests for from their members. The best space always has a queue, and as soon as it comes in... it gets booked and not seen online. We call it the 80/20 rule. 80% of members request 20% of the best space... SFX specializes in the 20.

* The caveat is our Sell-off week list. This is inventory that starts within 60 days. You can login and see that under Specials, and book it in real-time.

2. The Bonus week is either $399, $499 or $599.... it all depends on how soon you deposit your regular week. Those who deposit their week by October 31st are rewarded with the lowest price... $399.

You should try and use your bonus week before your exchange week, as it expires first.

3. Yes.

4. Your SFX account is credited as per the special 3 for 1 offer. After you login, click the Request Vacation tab. On the left you will see to boxes. One with exchange credits, the other with Bonus Week credits. You simply click the one you want to use for your request, complete the form and submit.

Correct - it's still going through processing and will reflect in your account by 5pm PST.

Thanks for your #3 question. I did not know this and Mark's reply will help me to be more efficent as I plan my deposited and bonus weeks of vacation. Just goes to prove - two heads are better than one!
