RCI 8757 - Hope Lake Lodge and Indoor Waterpark at Greek Peak.

Hi Mark,

Does SFX offer trades at this resort? It is a Gold Crown on RCI. If so, what are the chances of getting 2 or 3 rooms for the same week in the summer of 2009?

Hi Amanda - Subject to availability, this property is qualified for exchange with our network. It's not in the website, because we do not get requests for this area. The demand is probably very regional.

Because demand is probably very regional, and being a good quality resort... this would indicate the property has a very high Owner usage, leaving very little opportunity for exchange guests with any exchange company. Even more so during the Summer, when kids are out from school, and during the winter for the skiiers. People who ski love to use their timeshares more than exchange them.

Under these circumstances, it would probably be difficult to get an exchange for one unit in prime time, let alone two or three . Any high quality resort, in a high demand location during prime season always has a higher demand than availability factor. This applies with all exchange companies.

Sorry for not bringing good news, but this is a realistic appraisal.

Thanks Mark.. as always I appreciate the honesty!

I figured this might be more of a ski location and therefore, not as busy during the summer...

I am going to try to think of another location that might work for this trip..........
