  • Recovering Costs?

I'm a little confused Mark so your guidance will be appreciated.

I have an exchange that due to circumstances beyond my control I will be unable to use. This exchange is in May and the week used to obtain it expires in June.

In 2005 I found one of your post that says we cannot rent out exchanges and in 2007 I found one saying we could let someone else use it and recoup our cost from them.

Can we, or can we not, let someone else use these weeks and recoup our cost associated with the trade? Thanks in advance.

Bucky - thank you for your post. You may send anyone as your Guest, and if you wish, charge them your costs.

However, with your best interests in mind...... as your Guest, you are technically liable for any damage, incurred costs etc. they may incur. We strongly recommend you have them sign a simple agreement stating they will be financially responsible for all and any incurred expenses, damage etc. during their occupancy.

For future trips, we strongly recommend some great Vacation Protection such as the one we offer here for only $45.

I know... it's another $45 BUT, look at the piece of mind you have for such a small amount of money covering you for so much risk.

    Hope this helps,
