Question about easter week at Mayan

I would like to exchange into Grand Mayan (Nuevo Vallarta, Cabo, Puerto Vallarta or Puerto Penasco) next year (2007) in April. My children's spring break starts Friday March 30 and they go back to school on April 9th. Unfortunatelly, next year this is Easter week. What does SFX's availibility for Mayan looks like for this week? We all know that most contracts exclude Easter week from regular ownership. Do you ever get them for exchange? I would be exchanging with Surrey Vacation Resort/Carriage Place BRANSON, GC, hopefully summer week (2 bdrms) - I just purchased this week and still don't have the deed, hopefully will get it in a few weeks. Please let me know what my chances are for this particular exchange.

Dorota - thank your for your post. Historically we received Easter week deposits from various resorts including resorts in Mexico. However, that is no assurance of future deposits that will be offered to any Members. Deposits and supply vs. demand factors change from year to year for space.

You would need to deposit your week and place a request. Also, please keep in mind with most resorts space cannot be reserved more than one year in advance. Please keep in mind, Easter Week is the most demanded week in the year in Mexico, and it would be in your interest to be flexible and consider alternate resorts rather than placing a restriction on your request for just one resort.
