    Hi Mark,

I had a request today from my favourite charity to donate a timeshare week in Sedona for a silent auction item for their upcoming golf tournament.

I have booked my Sedona week for myself this year, and I didn't think I could find something else within the tight time frame between now and the tournament.

But I called SFX, talked with Oscar, and in a couple of hours I had booked a Sedona unit using my 2008 bonus week.

I am very happy, and the unit will raise funds for a very worthy cause.

My thanks to SFX and Oscar for making my quest so easy.

    I second that

I donated an SFX Mexico week to my daughter's school silent auction. Last week it sold for $1500. I'll be calling you soon to put the name on the guest certificate!

Thanks from Grace Church School in Brooklyn, Mark.

Eal - Thank you for your post, and glad we came through for you. A Vacation Week is one of the best fund-raisers there is.

I have used a number of them to help raise funds for schools, churches, charities etc. over the years, and have raised anwywhere from $800 to $8,000 for a week.

For those of you who may not have enough time to use your Bonus Week, or perhaps you do, but being charitable just simply makes you feel great !!

What a wonderful way to help others...

      Thanks,

I need to chime in regarding Oscar. He is without one of the best and most carinf customer service representatives I have ever worked with. The man ROCKS!

          Thanks,
I am thinking about doing this myself. For those of you who have donated-is it best to go ahead and pick a location/reserve the week and then let it stand as what it is OR do you float it and let the buyer choose? I might get stressed out if I was trying to get what they wanted and failed. How do you all handle it?
