Happy with Elena from SFX

I just wanted to let you know that I am very happy with the the service that Elena has provided for me. I called because I have had an ongoing request in, and have not had any success. I wanted to firm up an exchange so I could obtain airfare, even though it was for next February. I called, and got Elena to help me. I told her I would be open to pretty much anything as long as there was no snow, and the airfare would be reasonable. She found a resort for me in Palm Springs, and also went onto Kayak for me (my computer was down) to see what the airfares looked like. I applaud her customer service!

WOW! I gave up on contacting them via email. I always call nowadays.

How's their response when you use their website to post your wish/trade list? Does this actually work?

I am certainly willing to stop calling IF the other contact methods actually work.

I currently have a request in for the FL keys in May 2009. Right now I'm giving them some time to fulfill the request. Should I periodically call to see how they're doing? And when should I start doing that? I'm curious what those who have been successful with SFX have done.

Bigrick - thank you for your post. You are more than welcome to call at any time, but if you have not been contacted by an agent, it means what you are looking for has not yet become available and a search is still in progress. We call you the moment there is a match.

If you do call while a search is in progress, you may wish to discuss alternative locations and dates for your exchange, as another option for a great vacation.

Jim - thank you for your post. You may call as often as you like, but if you have not been contacted by an agent, it simply means what you have requested has not yet become available and a search is still in progress. You are contacted the moment there is a match, and every 30 days that go by, you recieve an update-email. We assure you, we call you the moment there is a match... it's how we generate revenue.

If you do call while a search is still in progress, and some time has gone by... you may wish to consider alternative options for dates and location to discuss with the agent.

I am sorry if I am being redundant as per the previous post... Just making sure there is a complete response.

I dealt with Scarlet just recently and Mark in the past and both have been very good about responding to my emails, very timely and efficient. I only call when I need to pay or such since in Mexico and calls expensive and many disconnects so they have been good with the emails in my circumstance.
