Hi Arlene - thank you for your post... good question. By adding alternative dates, you do not lose your place in the queue with the "orginal" travel dates requested.

However, with the "new" alternative requested travel dates, your placement in the queue for those specific dates are as of the day you placed them. To do otherwise, wouldn't be fair to others who have placed their request for the same new dates prior to you.
