VDP Cabo to Hawaii?

Hi I am new to the forum and have a question.. would a 2brm/2bath Villa Del Palmar (Cabo or PV) in the prime season (1/1-4/30 as I understand it) be able to trade into a nice Hawaiian property say on Maui, Hawaii or Kaui in January - March ? If so how long in advance would I have to deposit and can you give me an example of a resort (name, stars, etc..) and what would the cost be? Thanks!

Lesley - thank you for your post. Subject to availability, you would be able to trade into a Crown or 5 Star rated resort in the Hawaiian Islands during their premium demand time, Jan - April.

For this period, it is best to have a request in around 9-12 months in advance and to be as Flexible as possible on both travel weeks and/or Islands. The demand is extreme, and most Owners use their time at the better quality resorts in Hawaii during this period. This is why Flexibility is so important.

For resort examples, subject to availability we would only confirm you into a Crown or 5 Star rated resort. Some examples can be seen at our (outdated and incomplete) directory at www.sfx-resorts.com/directory.htm. (A new directory will be executed in our new upcoming web).

Or you may reference any other exchange directory for variety, as subject to availability, we can access any resort in any system. (Exchange companies do not own the resorts. The space is owned by Owners like yourself).

A small suggestion. Since the new website seem to have been delayed again, could SFX just update the list quickly. Consider SFX does it for the selloff week and the changing bonus offers, and the information should be available already, it should not take much time or effort. Or if it would be simpler, have it in a downloadable .pdf file that you can replace easily and people can download to look..
