So, if you are asking, can you see availability online, the answer is NO. You must call a Rep and check and if there's nothing immediately available, you have to put in a Request and that appears to be a priviledge of higher tiers of membership?

Platinum really has three advantages over Gold.

1. Request first - although if you do this you can't get bonus weeks.
2. Request your exchange or bonus week 18 months out instead of just 12.
3. Discounted exchange fees

Hi Jim - and in addition to those 3 items... you receive a $100 discount every time you book a sell-off week. You end up saving far more than what the Platinum membership costs you.

What type of a week can you use for sell-off weeks? Bonus or regular?

Hello Amanda - thank you for your post. There are 3 types of weeks you can book.

1. Exchange week against the week you deposit.

2. Bonus Weeks. Promotional deeply discounted rentals. These can be requested up to one year in advance, similar to an exchange week.

3. Sell-off weeks. These are also deeply discounted weeks, but are typically available with shorter notice, approximately up to 60 days in advance. You can book as many as you want of these weeks, and as a Platinum Member you receive $100 off the price every time. When you login, click the Specials tab, you will see them, and they can be booked in "real-time". You can also check the box that will send you an auto-notification every time that screen is updated.
