  • Account inactivity = account deletion?

    Hi,

I just noted, when attempting to contact SFX about an upcoming exchange, that our account was no longer registered. We had registered it with our NCV intervals a couple years ago and did an exchange which confirmed earlier this year.

Now that I think of it, we hadn't received any promos or updates from SFX in awhile and that makes sense now. Our Platinum membership did expire in late 2007.

Did SFX make any major changes this year that would've wiped out active accounts or was ours just an anomaly?

Does SFX routinely delete non-Platinum accounts after a certain period of inactivity?

I do recall letting our II membership expire for a couple years and then, late last year, renewing it. Everything was still there (our NCV info) and I recall continuously getting teasers and membership opportunities from II during the period of expiration.

    Experience/policy?

Hi Pat - thank you for your post. We do not delete any accounts for non-activity. We take into account that people with good quality resorts have a propensity to use their property where they own, and not exchange every year.

If you would be kind enough to PM your name and account number, I will gladly look into this for you.

    Thanks,
