Will you begin to accept the upgraded Summer Bay Desert Club, now that it is moved and upgraded to a basically new resort?

    Just wondering

Is there a reason you are ignoring my Question? It appears you posted to other questions on this site and I was just curious as to why my posting was overlooked. Yes I know it is the holidays, but since you were active with other posters, I was just left wondering.

There has been a period known as Christmas and New Year since you posted. Maybe that has some effect on the speed of response. Also, maybe SFX needs to check out the changes at the resort before replying.
Just a couple of possible reasons.

Vandesa - thank you for your post. Mark has been on vacation over the Christmas and New Year Holiday, and will return on Friday. We would have to research the changes in the property, however, our members typically want to stay on the Strip.

On behalf of Mark, Thank you.

Thanks, It was nice to be acknowledged.

Info on the new Summer Bay resort....
Summer Bay Resort | Las Vegas Property| About Us |

It is actually slightly closer to the strip than the Wyndham Grand Desert, which is on your list. Just wondering, with all the new improvements, if it would be considered. If I don't ask the answer is NO.

I agree. I would like to see it added to the list also. Harrah's is providing a shuttle to the strip, and the new property has many amenities worthy of a Gold Crown resort.

I see this property on the Sell Off list. This is after I was told it would not be added to SFX as it would never be of the right calibar.

So are you accepting deposits? If so any restrictions or are all dates accepted?

What dates would qualify as a Prime season and get a bonus with deposit.

              Please advise.

Vandesa - Thank you for your post. Unfortunately at this time we are not accepting deposits from this resort. The unit that you mention in our Sell-off list was a unit from another party. From time to time we blend some inventory from third parties for the Sell-off list.

We are sorry we are unable to be of service to you at this time, and thank you for your interest.

                Sincerely,
                Mark @sfx

Beating a dead horse perhaps, but since Orange Lake has taken over and RCI has given this property a Gold Crown designation, any chance of reconsidering it again.

Hi Vandesa - thank you for your post. The units are nice, but being so far from the strip, unfortunately its a location issue. We do appreciate you considering us.

                    Thanks,

How far do you think it is off of the strip?

Bruce - Thank you for your post. It looks like its around 1.5 to 2 miles.

IMHO ou might want to update your records. Summer Bay is one long block behind the Imperial that is on the strip and the Summer Bay is 2 blocks or only about between 1/4 to 1/2 mile off of the strip.

I own at Summer Bay and and walk up to ther strip from Summer Bay and Summer Bay on Koval.

I am also a Bluegreen owner and the Summer Bay is Closer to the Strip than Bluegreens Club 36 is.

                            Bruce is correct!!!

Summer Bay is a very short walk to the strip and no way is it 1 1/2 to 2 miles from strip.

Bruce/Larry... thank you for your feedback. The resort advises its about a 30 minute walk to the strip. Does that sound about right to you?

                              Thanks,
