Frank, in her first post of this thread, she did say “Mark also asked me to email him privately, which I did Jan 02/09. Still NO reply.” In my book, email and PM hold the same weight, maybe email is a little more.

I think the SFX posts on this site (and maybe emails) sometimes get missed or delays in getting answered. I have seen that in the past on other posts. In this case, timing may have been part of the issue, but certainly there is some history of slow responses.

And to Vandesa, if you are not getting replies to email or post, try a phone call. That should get you a definitive answer.

I suspect that many of perceived issues between posters on this thread are simply down to misunderstanding and miscommunication. Even the TUG references are being misinterpreted I think. All I read into it was vandesa trying to explain why she had posted on this forum in the first place i.e. People on TUG thought she had a better chance of a reply because of the Ask SFX forum and the generally good relationship here with Mark. I certainly didn't interpret it as banging the TUG drum in any way.
Might I suggest that all parties involved pull their necks in a bit?? I don't believe we should be giving any new member the impression that they aren't welcome just because of crossed wires. We have a reputation for being a friendly bunch, let's live up to it.

I am disappointed regarding the decision to reject this property, which has been renovated to Gold Crown status. There is a shuttle running to the Strip and many amenities. I hope SFX will reconsider this sometime in the future.
