Easter week time frame is somewhat confusing to me.

Is there a date to which you will accept Easter week deposits beginning dates.

      Hi Basham -

The latest dates that would qualify for an Easter deposit are April 4-11, 2010.

      Hope this helps...

          Mark,

I think it is great that SFX is providing its members with the option of choosing which extra benefit will work for them!! Especially when other companies do not offer any extra benefits at all. So, if you cannot use a bonus week, you can take the $25 off. Great customer service!

          Thanks

            Mark,

Has this offer been launched? I do not find the offer or the TOC's on the SFX Website.

            Thanks!

Hi StressCadet - apologies.... we haven't posted the final Special Offer yet, as we are negotiating to add even more value with more benefits. We will for sure have it posted by next week.

              Thank you for your patience...

                  Amanda,

I agree the flexible options are a nice perk. But other companies do in fact offer bonus weeks. SFX's bonus weeks, with the exception of Mexico, are priced higher than II's, and probably TPI's as well (though I don't follow TPI as closely).

                  Mark,

When the bonus weeks were at $399, I didn't mind the added increase over II since it was not more than $100. $499 and $599 (especially the latter) come close to an additional maintenance fee, so don't seem as much of a "bonus," especially in lean times when travel is more of a luxury than ever.

I do appreciate the option of choosing something other than the Mexico week, since I never used it. I just wish the second bonus were less expensive.

Do we need to choose the benefit when we deposit? Or can we do it on an ad hoc basis as the need arises?

Hi Glitter- Thank you for your post. I would like to say, the earlier posting with the 3 for 1 is not the final amended promotion, that will be "finally" be posted this Friday for sure. I can tell you, the $599 Bonus Week pricing is eliminated.

Glitter, it appears that you have not stated a couple of critical items, that does indeed make our BonusWeeks a far greater value than other companies.

                    Three points...

                    1. As a general rule with the other companies, you are restricted only to the weeks that are sitting around in their system. With SFX you “can" request a Bonus Week in the same manner you can request an exchange week. Request what you want, rather than having to pick something that is left over.

                    2. Unless things have changed, with the other majors you can only book what's left-over and sitting there I believe only up to 60 days in advance. With SFX you can request a Bonus Week (a destination of your choosing, not just leftovers) up to "1 year in advance", just like an exchange week.

This makes a HUGE difference to the VALUE of the week. Most people are aware, the closer the start date of a hotel room or resort space, the less valuable it is. Seeing that you can request "what you want" and request up to a year in advance, the value of our Bonus Weeks far exceeds the price you are paying for the unit, and far exceeds the value of a bonus week that you can only take 60 days or less. Even if we priced our Bonus Weeks at $599, ($85 per night) with our above parameters, it would be way too cheap, even in this recession.

                    3. Lastly…. Just want to reiterate the quality of our Bonus Weeks are typically Gold Crown and Star rated. A higher consistency with regards to quality.

As an FYI... and I haven't looked in a few months. But many timeshare owners tell us that the bonus weeks for I.I. are around $500-$1,000. Still a good value when you compare to a hotel room. I have found very average hotels to still be around $150 - $225 per night !!! Yes, even in this recession.

We do ask you select your options at the time of deposit. You will however be able to change your options if you wish within 7 days of us receiving your deposited week.

                    Hope this helps…

                    Thanks,

Is this new offer going to apply to 2010 weeks already deposited? I deposited my July 4th 2010 week at Gaslamp Suites a few months ago.

Hi John - Yes. However, after we have posted the offering tomorrow, you will need to call in next week and let the agent know which of the 3 items you would like to choose, and we will adjust your account.

                          Happy July 4th !!
