  • Official New SFX 2010 Special Offer

Thank you for your patience... Here it is: SFX 2010 Special Offer.

    Three points...

    1. As a general rule... with the other companies, you are restricted only to the weeks that are sitting around in their system. With SFX you “can" request a Bonus Week in the same manner you can request an exchange week. Request what you want, rather than having to pick something that is left over.

    2. Unless things have changed... with the other majors you can only book what's left-over and sitting there I believe only up to 60 days in advance. With SFX you can request a Bonus Week (a destination of your choosing, not just leftovers) up to "1 year in advance", just like an exchange week.

This makes a HUGE difference to the VALUE of the week. Most people are aware, the closer the start date of a hotel room or resort space, the less valuable it is. Seeing that you can request "what you want" and request up to a year in advance, the value of our Bonus Weeks far exceeds the price you are paying for the unit, and far exceeds the value of a bonus week that you can only take 60 days or less. Even if we priced our Bonus Weeks at $599, ($85 per night) with our above parameters, it would be way too cheap, even in this recession.

    3. Lastly…. Just want to reiterate the quality of our Bonus Weeks are typically Gold Crown and Star rated. A higher consistency with regards to quality.

As an FYI... and I haven't checked in a while. But many timeshare owners tell us that the bonus weeks for I.I. are around $500-$1,000. Still a good value when you compare to a hotel room. I have found very average hotels to still be around $150 - $225 per night for a room for only 2 !!! Yes, even in this recession.

    Thanks,

    Mark,

Is the $25 discount off the exchange fee option above and beyond the discounted exchange fee that platinum members already get?

djyamyam - Thank you for your post. Yes... you will get $25 off the already discounted exchange fee as a Platinum Member.

That means, with both discounts you are saving $55 per exchange for your 2010 deposits.

      Hope this helps...

Forgot to mention... We do ask you select your options at the time of deposit. You will however be able to change your options if you wish within 7 days of us receiving your deposited week.

Mark, please explain the 18 month extension. Is that for every week you already have deposited in SFX that you get 18 months added to each week? Thanks.

            Hi Mark,

So do you pick 4 if you are depositing over 6 months out and have a prime week? Thanks

And can we choose an option more than once? Or do we have to select three different options?

Tim - thank you for your post. Yes... We will extend any unused deposited week/s for 18 months. (Extensions do not apply to Bonus Weeks).

                Hope this helps,

Hi Glitter - the only option you can select more than once is the $499 Bonus Week. All others are limited to a single selection.

                    Hope this helps...

Mark I have questions about the new special.........

                      $25 off your next Exchange
$50 off your next Bonus Week

How long do you have to use these? Do they expire?

18 Month Extension for All Prior Deposits

Any chance this option could be used twice? I have been depositing weeks saving up for a long trip or two when we retire. Being able to extend for 36 months would be terriffic and really wouldn't cost SFX anything to do that.

                      Free Vacation Protection ($39.95 Value)

Could you tell us a bit more about this?

                      Thanks,

Hi Patty - thank you for your post. Unfortunately we are unable to allow a double-use of this option extending weeks 3 years beyond their original 2 year expiration. It would actually cost SFX very signficantly if we did that, as it prolongs the transaction further out, therefore delays revenues to the company.

HOWEVER... There is a "work-around" to this that benefits all parties, and that is... when we run the next promotion for 2011 deposits, any pre-existing unused deposits get extended by another year. You keep on banking, we keep on extending. It's a mutual benefit.

We offer optional Vacation Protection, which is highly recommended. The price is only $39.95. This is one of the options you can choose for free in the Special Offer... saving you money.

                        Hope this helps.

                            Thanks,
Hi Caribbean - thank you for your questions. For your vacation exchange week, you will up to 2 years past the arrival date of the week you deposit in which to redeem your exchange. For example... if you deposited a week that has a check-in date of June 1-8, 2010... you will have up to May 30, 2012 to take your vacation.

For your Bonus Week... If you deposit your 2010 week during 2009, you will have from the day we receive your deposit and all the way through December 31st, 2010 in which to use your Bonus Week.

For example if you deposited your 2010 week today, you will have from now and to December 31, 2010 to redeem it for a vacation. (About 1 year and 5 months). Point being the further ahead you deposit, the more time you have to use the bonus week.

If you delay, and deposit your 2010 week during 2010 (instead of 2009), then you will have one year effective as of the day we receive your deposit to redeem your Bonus Week vacation.

Thus... members are rewarded for depositing earlier, which benefits all other members as it encourages deposits to come in sooner, which are then used to book other members exchanges.

                            Hope this helps...

                            Thanks,

                              Hi Mark-

Ok let me try this a different way...

$25 off your next Exchange - how long is the discount good for? How long do you have to use the discount to book an exchange?
