Mark, wasn't it this weekend that we were to be able to view directory on the new website? I'm still getting the nothing message.

Hi Anne - they were supposed to start beta testing the new Member Login interface this weekend. This is delayed as they decided to add "more features" into the system. They are now telling us another 2-3 weeks for the beta testing. The directory improvements will be next in line after the beta testing starts on the login area.

Will you be cleaning out the outdated links on the new site? There are several links on your press page which don't go anywhere including to a RCI & SFX joint announcement of a RCI-SFX points program.

Bill - thanks. Those links on the press page are now working. http://www.sfx-resorts.com/press.html.

We are currently frantically working on a complete overhaul of the directory and the Member features and tools in the login area. These are our immediate priorities.

Will the new site start to have links to the specials which SFX offers? Like a link to the 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 deposit bonus? ( Or maybe to the sell-off lists?)

I know that this would require some special programing since you'd want to show the link to sell off list the platinum members before the gold members. As well as show a 3 for 1 bonus for the higher quality resorts and the 2 for 1 bonus to the lesser quality resorts. But having these links on the website instead of thru the emails would be nice. Also will the web site have any kind of PM ability so if there is some communication which SFX wants between the members which can be done outside of emailing?

Bill - thank you for your post. Part of a programming project now under way is in the Member Login area where any current promotional specials will be displayed after you have logged in, dependent on resort owned.

However, our marketing department will in addition still send email notices advising Members of the promotion, otherwise it may be a few months before a Member logs in for any particular reason, and may miss great opportunities unless reminded to login via email.

Platinum Members will be able to see the Sell Off list after logging in and book units in real time online.

I am not sure about private messaging outside of emailing, but of course is something we can look at.

Within the next few months, you will almost not recognize the current website. There are so many more "functional tools" being added.
