  • No response from sfx

    4/26/2006

Edited this post today to incorporate your reply and my subsequent reply from yesterday which were lost. No need for you to repost as I have clarified things here.

Became a new member on December 2, 2005 and made 2 deposits on December 2, 2005 with Grand Summit Hotel, Park City.

At that time, I requested a couple of options for anywhere Caribbean or California for winter 2006, which has now passed. Also had a request for winter of 2007 Caribbean.

Recently, I renewed the requests with new choices for 2007 and 2008.

I have never had any communication from any sfx agent, other than as I recall initial conversations to set up and understand the processes. Subsequently, I have sent emails. I have phoned and never reached anyone in person. Have left voice mails and have never received any follow-up. I was not phoning to inquire about the status of my requests, and having used other exchange companies am used to waiting up to a year and more. What I had for the agent were other resort/region/procedural questions that I needed help with in order to place future requests. I was frustrated to not get call backs even leaving specific voice mail at specific extensions, after learning from tuggers about which agents were assigned to which regions. I did receive one email saying the agent could not reach me on account of "busy signals", but you can't get a busy with my phone system as all roll over to voice mail. Perhaps the triage of the sfx voice mail system was passing over my account because someone was assuming that I wanted to know about exchange status, when that was not the nature of my call? Possibly?

Trying to decide if I would deposit any more weeks with the new promotion, but with lack of follow-up when I needed help this winter what can you say about what is going on? Btw, you indicated afger you saw my account, that I wanted restricted times in popular places, but I just threw those into the system to get a few days for trade shows I needed to attend. I tried it to "test-drive" sfx for cancellations/last minute requests of 2-3 days. In fact, I do not ask for holiday weeks as a rule and specified in my on-line notes, I hope, to exclude holiday travel.

Am I not understanding the sfx process? Is there a better way to reach someone directly when I have questions? Now that I have found this forum, perhaps this is most efficient?

Have sent you a PM with my account number.

    Thanks,

    Hudson1126
