making reservation and banking before closing

Hi Mark,

I really got the timeshare bug part of it is SFX's fault, you guys are giving me such great exchanges

I just bought a 3 bdrm Cypress Pointe 3 diamond float in Orlando (ok, 2nd one in Orlando, but it is at a price I can not let it go). It still has 2006 available, and I don't want my Quarter House experience to happen again. In order not to waste the 2006 week, I am going to ask the seller to reserve a week now, I will try Xmas or NY week if possible, but I doubt it. Otherwise, which week is good to deposit with you? keep in mind it has to be later in the year so I can deposit on time with SFX.

Alternatively, can I ask the seller to deposit with you as a gold member (no fee) and then transfer it to me after closing? this way I can deposit early enough with you.

Please let me know what is best way to handle this.

If possible a reservation for any week during the Summer would be great. Also, Thanksgiving, Xmas or New Year. If those are fully booked... then try the week before Xmas, or any week in November.

Alternatively, to save time and thus access a better week to reserve and deposit, you may ask the seller to deposit the week into your SFX account. He would need to sign an SFX Deposit form for us to send to Cypress Pointe for verification of information.

I don't believe in dishing out all that money up front for Marriott, HGVC, etc. I tend to pick individual resort to fit my need. Some for business when I attend trade shows, some for pleasure, and some for exchange.

Jill - yes, he can set up a new SFX account and deposit in his name and we can transfer it to your account when the closing is complete.

The US Thanksgiving Holiday week will be Nov. 19 to 26.
