Hello, this forum was recommended to me by Lawren (TU). I hope that you will be able to help me. I have a FF timeshare in Southern California that I would like to trade/exchange for 2 weeks in Hawaii in April 2008. Is this possible and if so, what are the steps that I have to take in order to secure these 2 weeks. I am okay with a studio or 1 BR with a partial kitchen in any of the islands (but I would prefer one to be Maui). Any help or advice you can give me is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello.
the steps you need to follow are:
please contact us and we will fill out a banking verification form for you. We will then fax it to you for your autograph. Once you send it back we then process the deposit of the week. During this time, you can submit your request for the Hawaii for 2008 and tell us exactly what you want, when and any special requests.
I hope this helps, if not please let me know...thanks

Hi, Marcie!
Thanks for replying so quickly. More questions, do I have to deposit the week with FF first before I submit it to Trading Places to exchange or do I do what you said in your reply first? Also, since I want a particular week in April, can you do a search first to see if the week is available for me before I take the plunge?
Thanks again!

Ok, with FF, you would contact them first, they take you through the process and get you over to us.
As far as the week in April, I can take a look at what we have, where and when are you wanting to go?Trading Places International

Hawaii in April of 2008
Hello Mutual.
Yes, I do have a hawaii week for next April, no Maui unfortunately but I do have Kona Hawaiian Village 4/19-26 2B unit. Resort is located in Kailua Kona. Let me know if this works for you.Trading Places International

That is spring break week for many Northeasterners, so a tougher trade to begin with, and that resort is really nice and in an excellent location near Kona Town. The Big Island has a lot to explore and do. And a two bedroom on Maui will be very very hard to find. I traded in there last summer, liked it so much I bought a week EOY.... there are several reviews here on TS4Ms for it, too, as well as photos.
