    I just tried to make an exchange on-line and found that only one of my deposits was available for the exchange. I should have two deposits available as I used one of my bonus weeks for a trade which was less than 45 days out. This was done via email and phone.

    I am trying to understand your web system. On-line next to each of my deposits it says either 'available' or 'confirmed'. The one that I was able to exchange with was the unit marked 'available'. I did not make an exchange with the other unit marked 'confirmed' so why does it say confirmed and why is it not available for me to exchange with? The deposit which says 'confirmed' is a two bedroom unit and not available for on-line exchange so it forces me to use my other one bedroom deposit and I would be forced to pay a size upgrade fee.

    Also, how far out does your on-line exchange system make weeks available? My deposits were for later 2008 and early 2009 and I do not see them available on-line. I realize they may be taken already but I would think they would be available on-line if not.

    Please explain how your system works.

    Online Exchanging

    It would be best to look your account up before I respond so that I take a look at your account. In the meantime, Available and Confirmed does apply to the use of your weeks, however, if you have a pending exchange request in, your banked week is attached to that request to show that you are using it for a future request.

    Our exchange weeks are available one year out for exchange, however we have made exceptions to that if need be.

      Just as a follow up to this. I spoke to Marcie today. The status line in the Weeks Deposited section of one's on-line account does need to say 'available' for it to be used as an exchange.

      There was a mix-up with one of my bonus and deposited weeks which has now been cleared up. Thanks Marcie. I love TPI's service.
