    "My Deposited Weeks"
terminology 101 for a new member who's just deposited.

I have weeks showing 'not verified' and that means you are still working on contacting the resort.

I have a week showing as 'available' and that means you've verified with reosrt and I can use it to trade.

I've seen mentioned 'confirmed,' what does that mean, is it that you have made an exchange with that week and it is no longer available?

I deposited another week <70days ahead of check-in, please explain in detail what the repercussions of that are to me. Why doesn't it show up in my list of deposited weeks?

Very gentle slap on the back of the legs Please don't turn the 'Ask' forums into Chat Rooms. The company reps get e-mail notification of all posts in these forums and I suspect they have more to do than read other peoples chatter.
        Thanks.

          Sorry.

So what is the answer to these questions?

              Terminology 101

              Hello.
Yes, not verified means we are waiting for you resort to sign off on the verification of your week. Once we receive that back from them, your week will change to "open".
Available means, this week is ready to use when you are.
Confirmed means we have booked your week for an exchange guest.
As far as the week you banked at 70 days out, there are no repercussions, you can still request an exchange at a year out, no restrictions. As far as it not showing up, I will l need to investigate your account. Please email me your owner information and I will look in to it. marcies@tradingplaces.com
              Thanks!

5 weeks is quite a while to wait for an answer.

There was something about a week being deposited less than 70 days prior to check-in... that a credit for the deposit would not occur unless/until someone else had exchanged for/taken my late deposit. Are you saying that that is not the case?

                  Marcie,
I think folks need a clarification on this 70 day deposit rule and the 60 day rule for "TPI managed" resorts. It's a little cloudy. I think I've got it but others may not.

                    70 day out Dep rule

Ok...for clarification purposes, in order for TPI to guarantee your deposit, you have to have to us at 70 days out. This will ensure that you get a banked week with TPI that will be good for 2 years.

If less than 70 days out, you can request to bank your week however we will not guarantee it until we use the week (find someone to use it). If we do use it, then you will have a banked week with TPI guaranteed for 2 years with no restrictions on your exchange request.

                    I hope this helps.

                    Thanks.
