  • Thanksgiving Week in California

    Hi,
I'm looking for at least four bedrooms, five would be better, for Thanksgiving week, driving distance from San Francisco. I'm thinking Mendocino coast area, Napa area, Monterrey/Carmel, but am open to other options. Anybody have any ideas of how I might search for this? How do I calculate what week number it is?
    Thanks!!!

Are you looking for an exchange, a rental, or a purchase? Worldmark has several resorts in mid-California. Most only go up to 2 bedrooms, so you would need 2 units. I don't know of any 3, 4, or 5 bedroom units.

I am no expert in the CA area but I will say that finding a 4 bedroom may not be something you will find. You would need to get 2 - 2 bedroom units.

I don't yet own a timeshare so renting is what I'm thinking, and two two bedrooms could work. Any suggestions on how to search?
        Thanks again.

Finding two units at the same resort for the same week could be tricky, especially in the area you want with few timeshares, and a holiday week. Have you googled for rentals? I would try to find a house if I needed that many bedrooms. Or I would try Priceline for multiple hotel rooms.

Mountain Retreat is between Yosemite and San Francisco....long drive but not sure what you mean by driving distance. They have large units and at that time of year I would think you could get multiple 2 bedroom units there and each holds 8 with privacy for 6.
