We have had more May Gray and June Gloom this last August and so far in September than I can ever remember.

Yet here in Washington State, we're having one of the nicest September on record. ( after one of the worst May and June weather)

Oh no. I'll be there in a week or so, and I was hoping for some great weather.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

It is nice this afternoon. Hit and miss lately.

It was supposed to get hotter this week.

I live in the Temecula Valley which is about 20 miles inland from San Clemente as the crow flies. We have had the best weather here from May until the present than I have seen in many many years. We had no June Gloom and the weather has been pretty consistent. The summer temps were generally a few degrees below normal which is fine as we get pretty hot summers. All in all, it has been a great year.

We stayed in Marina Del Rey for a couple nights about 10 days ago and the weather was good once the marine layer lifted.

We are having some of the worst June gloom that I have seen in a few years. Temperatures are well below normal.

And the forecast is for more and more of the same....this is the worst I remember in some time. This morning it was actually partially sunny but now it is overcast again in inland OC. Jeeze.....I want to go to Hawaii.

I just flew into LAX today---luckily, I looked at a forecast before I came.

We usually don't get much of the June Gloom in Murrieta. However, this year we are not only getting it but it is not clearing until very late in the afternoon if at all. In late April and May, I was able to use my swimming pool but can't now until we get some sun.

Even the weather in the desert stinks. Cool, Windy, not swimming weather at all. I did have to laugh though...was at LAX on Tuesday, my poor little desert kids, Um Mom-is that fog? They have no idea. It's usually blue skies, clear, and hot here...but not right now

We just got back from a week at Welk Escondido, and I expected a little gloom, but didn't expect that we'd actually see highs not reach 70 and be too cool to enjoy the pool sometimes! Oh well, still an awesome week anyway.

Not here in Murrieta. It is still more of the same. The sun tries to come out and then goes away.

We were in Carlsbad last year May 1-8 and the weather was wonderful every day...guess we were just lucky....so Oct/November would be better?
Early May is usually pretty nice. The June gloom ended several days ago and now it has turned pretty hot. You can have beautiful weather at any time of the year. It is just that the period from November - April and late May through June is pretty iffy. For us that live here, the beauty of it is that during those periods even if we have bad weather, we know that there will be plenty of nice days. For visitors, it is the luck of the draw.

I live on the Atlantic coast in North Florida and like the gloom on the central Ca coast in August. We have gone there the last two years(Pismo Beach area) and enjoy the dramatic change in climate from Fl. It is like going from summer to winter for us. Sometimes the fog gets too gloomy and we head inland just to get warm.
