Grand Pacific Resorts-Resort Fees

I just returned from Carlsbad Seapointe where I was prepared as an exchanger (GPX) to pay the 12.00 per day resort fee totaling 84.00. To my surprise, I was asked for 98.00. The resort fee has apparently increased to 14.00 per day. I came home and checked Resortime and it does state it is now 14.00. So, I decided to look at most of the California GPR properties and list the resort fees as a service to our members.

Carlsbad Seapointe 14.00
Carlsbad Inn 12.00
Grand Pacific Palisaides 16.00
San Clemente Cove 10.00
Southern California Beach Club 13.38 (12.00 plus taxes)
Villa L' Auberge 10.00
Coronado Beach Resort 14.00

If you are an owner and have exchanged back in to your home resort-they will waive the resort fees.

I wonder if HGVC exchanges into the GP resorts pay the fee.
I know that I went to one of the SW affiliates and didn't have to pay the fee because I am an "owner" in HGVC.

Good question. I don't think you do..I read an old thread where an HGVC owner picked up a couple nights during open season and said his amount due at check out was zero.
