Carlsbad Seapointe Resort Starts 2013 with Three Awards!
We've had a great beginning to the New Year with THREE awards for the resort, and we wanted to share the honors with you as well as update you on our ongoing improvements.
Seapointe received RCI "Gold Crown" Status for 2013!
Only the top 22.6% of the resorts in the RCI exchange system are designated "Gold Crown." To achieve this award a resort must meet the highest standards of quality and service excellence.
Two More Awards from TripAdvisor!
TripAdvisor has honored our resort with the "Certificate of Excellence for 2012." This distinction acknowledges hospitality excellence and is only given to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding travel reviews on the TripAdvisor site. To qualify for the award a resort must maintain an overall 4 or higher rating (out of a possible 5) from traveler reviews.
TripAdvisor also gave Seapointe the #6 ranking out of 32 properties in Carlsbad - quite a distinction considering the competition in the area.
Higher Than Average Occupancy Rates for First Two Months of 2013
Based upon our great recognition, it should come as no surprise that the resort has maintained higher than average occupancy rates in January and February. The higher occupancy is primarily from guests from all over the world exchanging through RCI, HGVC, and GPX.
Property Improvements
This New Year finds us continuing with improvements to your resort. Next time you are here, be sure to take a look at the stylish and convenient new trash receptacles and additional recycling bins to support our "going green" effort.
Breathe, Relax and Tone!
We've had only positive reviews for the self-paced Yoga class our Activities Department recently added. Guests love the calming stretching and strengthening that Yoga provides. See what it can do for you!
Employee Promotion
Not only did Kasey McIntyre celebrate her one-year anniversary with Seapointe on February 24, she's also been promoted to Front Desk Supervisor. Kasey brings an excellent overall understanding and commitment to the many responsibilities of the front desk.
