  • Grand Pacific Resorts at Grand Pacific Palisades Resort (#5362)

We have an exchange the middle of March and are taking our 11 year old granddaughter. Any recommendations on building and/or rooms to request, thing do and do they have tours to LA or Mexico from there and if so are they safe?

They often do have a Hollywood tour and a Catalina Island tour. They have a van that picks up at the resort at 7:00am. I haven't done either tour.

I'd request a 3rd floor unit. On the weekends the family pool is very busy and loud. They have a lot of extra activities set up on the lawn.

Anyone have any tips about avoiding the resort fee? We are going in February via SFX

No way to avoid the fee unless you have an owner checking in with you.

Do all the buildings have Elevators‎? How much is the resort fee? I remember hearing about it when I confirmed the exchanged, but don't recall how much it was for the week.

Yes for elevators for all buildings.

According to RCI, the daily fee is $16./per day.

Are you positive about this? It is very common at many resorts for SFX exchangers not having to pay the resort fees that RCI exchangers have to pay.

Yes. I've stayed at GPR 3 times via SFX and have had to pay the fee each time.
