Hey can you post a picture. The weather here has been great to, my wife last night wants to know when i plan on turning the heat on. She does not think body heat works.

My son just moved to Palo Alto 2 weeks ago....He cannot believe how great the weather is . Shorts and T shirts and weather in high 20s .( Centigrade not sure what it is in F !)
We plan to go out in April..hoping for similar weather .
( any suggestions for a Marriott or similar within driving distance ? )

Garry, the only timeshares close to Palo Alto are in either Monterey area or up in Napa region. I don't think there are any Marriott timeshares but there are plenty of hotels. There is a Worldmark in Angel's Camp, about a 3 hour drive from Palo Alto. There are several timeshares in San Francisco. Those would be quite close. You'll probably be best served to get a hotel.

I live about 3 hours from Palo Alto & one of my sons works near there. Weather right now is fabulous. In April, rather unpredictable. Could be rainy (we are hoping) or could be dry & sunny. It is always very mild in temperature year around in Palo Alto with fog in the summer for sure.

Many thanks .. have an II search out for Hyatt in Carmel using Marriott in Marbella Spain but to no avail . Guess owners use it a lot . Lets see ..might look towards Tahoe . We would need 2 hotel rooms I guess ,and we wont be going to Spain in 2015

Hyatt Carmel is a fabulous place. We have gone several times. Lots to see and do in the area. It's a bit of a drive to Palo Alto but not bad. You definitely need to rent a car to get anywhere.

Thanks ...for sure we will have a car ,,hence bringing Tahoe into play .I think II will give priority to Marriot to Marriott requests but lets see...
Son and family will take a week off and we might take a few extra days ( its a 10 hour flight direct into SF so we will need to unwind )

I also recommend the Highlands Inn at Carmel at the Sea. It is a very nice resort and the two Marriott's in South Lake Tahoe too but that is quite a drive, I believe.

There is a Hyatt High Sierra Lodge in Incline on the lake and Lake Tahoe is so beautiful but so is the Monterey Peninsula. I also believe that San Francisco would a great place to stay and that you'll like it.

Cell phone has a camera

We went to visit Bruce and Judy this Monday and I took some iPhone pictures of them from "The Cliff" terrace where we had lunch. Bruce and Judy wrote that it was OK to post the pictures here. We had a real nice afternoon together.






PS. You can follow the weather here from the Hotel Laguna Beach Cam that is only steps away from The Cliff and Laguna Surf. It is on 24 hours so you see the traffic at night.
