Heres a question for you and others that might visit San Diego.. Would you consider chartering a motor yacht for a day cruise of the harbor or a little whale watching or perhaps a sunset cruise. It aint cheap one guy I know (a licensed captain) charges (for up to 6 guests) $695 for 2 hours and $975 for3. Im thinking of adding my boat to his fleet
They offer that option here so you can be taken on out on your boatel, also sunset cruises. We opted not to because of the expense. I don't remember how much it was, but it was too much.
And I knew you hadn't done this firsthand, but I did check out reviews independently and it sounded too good not to try. I just booked two nights so we weren't stuck if we didn't like it, but instead we're going to tour the rest of the fleet and think about staying a little longer next time. Though, honestly, I can't imagine liking anything better than this gorgeous old wooden sailing yacht.

Luanne, we loved Bali Hai, location alone made it a winner but it was really fun.
