Looks fabulous-can I ask how you exchanged into it? I have 2 RCI t/shares but I believe my Embassy Lake Tahoe (now owned by S unterra) is an II. Would that work? And did you get a studio, 1 or 2 bedrrom and when? Thanks-I'd love to stay here.

FSA is not traded through RCI, and is exchanged through II mainly (and may show up in the list of other smaller exchange companies like SFX etc.) WorldMark owners seem to be able to exchange to this resort during the FleXchange period. We also seem to be able to get into this resort outside of FleXchange using "Request First" and "Deposit First" modes.

I checked Kapish's pictures and Boca's too and yours, GrayFal. I love pictures as it shows you a lot more than you can describe in many words.

I was lucky to stay in a studio (lock-off?) for a few nights thanks to a very generous TS4Mr here. Thank you M... My SO didn't want to go so I stayed alone just to see and experience this outstanding resort and I am glad I did but it would have been nicer with my better half there too. I took lots of pictures of the pools and grounds and surrounding area too plus some of the studio which are on a CD but I never got around to upload them yet.

This unit was the cleanest I have ever stayed in and it had daily tidy service just like the resorts in Mexico and the service everywhere was excellent. The Marriott cannot compare to this but the maintenance fees are a lot lower than here. The service is good there too but the units are not kept that spotless or in good condition like here.

I enjoyed the bar at night with live music and there were quite a few local people too so we can go back any time again together. There is a good Italian restaurant here but you have to make reservations and certainly if you are an outsider. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet here. I believe that there was a steak house too and one more restaurant.

As nice as this resort or the Marriott NCVs are, I still prefer to stay at our tiny and modest timeshare resort in Laguna Beach because it is on the ocean and we can look at and hear the sound of the surf. What can be better than that? We will be there this Friday for a week. I am looking forward to it as always. We never tire of the ocean.

You can also exchange into it through SFX. It is listed in their directory. We live less than an hour away from it so maybe we will spend a week there for a nice little get-away.

Just got back....

from a week at this fabulous resort. Pat's pictures are great so I have nothing to add in that department. We were in a 1 bedroom located in the Summits with a view to the west with a tiny glimpse of ocean. It was very quiet & peaceful with very few people at the pools although the parking lots at the villas were full. Weather was drippy with foggy overcast all week but we still had a wonderful time. We have been to many high end resorts and none of them are as classy as this one. We've been to a couple that are better equiped (Masters Villas & Rancho Manana) but none that are so well furnished, have such lovely pools & stellar service. But, boy is it pricey! Golf is over $200 and our dinner at the hotel was $175 for 2 with 1 glass of wine. I can't wait to go again!

We will be checking out shortly - and we are going to miss this place! The daily maid service, the 82 degree pool (open 7 AM to 11 PM, with no more than 10 people near the pool at any given time...) and the incredible weather!
