You may want to avoid Winner's Circle Solana Beach CA weeks 4 & 5 '07 due to demolition construction of the clubhouse.....and then there will be construction until end of June 2007. FYI.

WEEK 4 AND 5
ALERT!!!!!

January 27, 2007 the demolition of the old clubhouse will
begin and the Resort will be closed. Anyone owning week 4
or 5 who has not either deposited the week with your exchange
company or made alternate occupancy plans with
me (Gayle Hall) PLEASE CALL ME! Even if you do not
plan to use it, as some of you frequently fail to use, I need
this information.

February 9, 2007 demolition will be completed and we
will again be ready for occupancy. There WILL be construction
going on until the job is completed sometime in June or
shortly thereafter. We will do our best to minimize your inconvenience
by strictly adhering to a 9:00 am to 5:00 pm work
schedule. If you are an owner of an inside-facing unit in Building
4, you will be the most effected. Perhaps if you’ve been
thinking of exchanging your week to go somewhere else, this
would be the best time to do it. The exchange companies know
our plan, and will forewarn any inbound that there is on-going
construction.

The construction should be completed by the end of June.

Clubhouse Construction Update from WC Newsletter

CLUBHOUSE CONSTRUCTION IS UNDERWAY

On Saturday, January 27, 2007,
construction will begin on our new
Clubhouse. Beginning that day and for
the following two weeks, the existing
structure will be torn down and the foundation
removed.

The project schedule is as follows:

Demolition
January 27 - February 3

Grading / New Foundation
February 3 - March 2

Framing
March 2 - May 3

Exterior Finishes
March 26 - May 15

Interior Finishes / Furniture
May 4 - May 21

Each Friday we will post a schedule of construction
activity for the week. We will also answer any
questions during the Sunday morning orientation
meeting. Your Board and the resort management are
very excited about this major project. What was a
cold, dark and uninviting space will become more
usable and enjoyable for owners and guests. If you
have any questions about the construction schedule,
call us at the resort to find out what is taking place.

I read about several delays with the construction reported in the newsletter. I just contacted the resort and they said the construction is complete and the new clubhouse is open.
