    Just checked into the Four Seasons Aviara

    Very very nice resort. I took pictures of the unit and will post later. I really like the rolling hills of Carlsbad. My unit would have a terrific view 50 years ago when there weren't as many houses out there.

    More later. Gotta run for now.

    Have a nice stay, Boca. We love to see your pictures too. I saw some that Grayfal posted and it looks like a beautiful resort. I had no idea that it was closer to San Diego and not to Newport Beach when I looked up the resort on www.mapquest.com.

      Hey, I thought Angela and I were joining you! I LOVE that resort, so beauitiful.
      Be sure to spend a few hours over at the hotel at the 'adult' pool - they have music underwater....If you have a view, I take it you are in Summit?

        Yes, I am on the Summit. Is there a difference? I haven't had time to look around. I'll do that today.

            The Meadows section of the resort is at the bottom of the hill.....not looking at anything really - and it seemed to me the units were closer together then up top...also from the Summitt you can easily walk over to the hotel.

            I prefer your location up top.
