    Cindy,

Don't forget to let us know how your son and daughter-in law liked Angels camp and the surrounding areas. I'm sure they come back with

How far is this from Modesto?

      Is there any timeshare closer?

We have to go to Modesto for a May wedding. I hate to spend more on a crappy hotel room for two nights than I would on a timeshare for a week.

How far is Yosemite? Is that a day trip or do you need a couple days?

Yes, they had a great time. Jeremy is a lover of the night life, so he was disappointed that they rolled up the sidewalks early, but they loved the resort and the area and bought some great wines from the local wineries.

Thank you for all your help on this one.

              For Canthon

Modesto is a bit of a drive from Angels Camp...maybe hour & 1/2 or so. Certainly do-able & a scenic, easy drive on the back road route. I don't think the Bass Lake Worldmark is any closer but I'm not really sure. Don't get to Modesto much! Yosemite is pretty close to both locations but would be a full day in & back with the zillion stops for photo ops Well worth several visits or even an overnighter at the lodge. May is fabulous in Yosemite!
