When staying at the Carlsbad Inn dont forget the Fish House Vera cruz right up the street (Great Fresh Fish). We traded our Cabo week in there a few years ago and because of the one in 4 year rule ended up buying at the Carlsbad Inn. You have helped us in the past and I thank you.

I really liked the Carlsbad Inn. I thought it was very quaint and I enjoyed being right in the town of Carlsbad. Aah, mid december...you'll enjoy the fireplace in the lobby. There is wifi in the Lobby, if you care to bring.

I thought it was great with the Coaster Train within walking distance and you can hop aboard for cheap and take it right into San Diego. Their train and bus sytem is clean,cheap and easy and I enjoyed giving the driving a break.

The beach is only one road away and we walked for miles enjoying the view.

Thanks for you restaurant idea. We both love fresh fish (I'm on Cape Cod, DB is on the Chesapeake Bay) and that will be the perfect match.

I'm gald I was able to help in the past. I sure wish things were as they were before. So many of our weeks are expiring in account and RCI has made it really difficult.

One of the things we are doing now is not bulk banking like we used to. It's unfortunate, but tit's the only way of getting around some things. As you know, no bulk banking=less available trades

Carlsbad Inn is a great choice. You will enjoy.

Jay's Gourmet Pizza & Seafood is across the street. They have a seafood salad that we love as well as several other dishes.

Upscale North County pizza chain also serves pastas and sandwiches in portions large enough to feed the whole family.


The fish house I like is called Kings. High quality and fresh..and kind of expensive. They are a chain and recently opened near the Carlsbad Outlet mall near GPP.

I would also recommend GPP. However, many people I have talked to like Carlsbad Inn.
