Squaw Valley or Heavenly for snowboarders?

    Squaw Valley or Heavenly for snowboarders?

    Heading to Tahoe for Spring Break (yes I'm a glutton for punishment this year, with two big snow trips even though I don't ski ).

    Confirmed into Club Tahoe, planned on spending most of the week at Squaw. But if I don't stop checking II soon I'll probably end up with a chance to move to Ridge Tahoe, or the Marriott, near Heavenly.

    Any opinions over better trails/terrain parks for snowboarders?. My older DS is too old for snowboard school, I'll probably have to get the boys a guide at either place since it doesn't look like either has a Teen program...

        Then you have a pretty good chance, especially at Ridge Tahoe. I just checked at there was a 2/25 check-in, 2 bdrm. What are your dates?

          Ang, I'm not sure I should switch yet. I think it may depend on snow conditions later in the season as Squaw may end up with more snow... anyway, you are already looking hard enough for me Otoh, if a 2 bedroom Hyatt opens up for 3/31, well that'd be a no-brainer. There was a 3/24 week a while back...omg am I pathetic, or what?

            Alright......I'll keep my eyes open for Hyatt, 3/31...2 bdrm.

              Never too old for ski school. I met a 60 year old lady one time and she just learned to ski. When are you going? We will be there April 1 thru April 8. Two teenage boys and I. Mom has to work.
