I saw a thread recently, where someone compared Peacock Suites to Dolphin's Cove. As far as I am concerned, there is no comparison. Dolphin's Cove is so much nicer and has much more room than Peacock Suites, where we stayed Feb. of '04. Shell Vacations Club offered us an incentive to go to their timeshare presentation while there, so we went. Rick told the guy that he was not impressed with Shell, if Peacock Suites is what they consider to be a "resort." The guy said we were buying ownership at The Donatello in SF, but no matter, we would never buy. The price was outrageous for just a small points package.
I may have missed the post, but how did you like Dolphin's Cove? As you know, we were in a three bedroom there in December. We did have ants in the unit when we arrived, but they sprayed and the ants never came back. Other that that, I found the unit to be quite nice and we had an amazing view of the fireworks every night from our balcony. I can see that the pool is kind of basic, but it was too cold to use it and we spent most of our time at Disney anyway.
All in all, though, I was pleased...especially since the reviews had worried me!
Th units were OK , The only main complaint I have with the units were that the AC is under powered. I was suppose to have 2 2 bedroom units. We paid the upgrade fee to get a 3 bedroom. I asked for the unit that you mentioned but was unable to get it because they were upgrading the units. Any way I paid $210 for the upgrade for the week. I asked to have the other 2 bedroom unit near by for my SIL with the kids. They came the next day. Anyway they goofed and gave her a 1 bedroom. She was fine with that. I was upset at the mistake, They had no other rooms left. They ended up refunding me the upgrade fee. I was happy about that and seemed fair to me.
Thanks for the video. I wondered about that place ... because WorldMark owners usually have differing opinions about this resort where some of the units are made available to us...

I never made it to this place to check out the inside and your video definately captures it.
Great idea taking video's.
