Tahoe ski conditions this month?

Anyone out there recently? We're going in two weeks, trying to figure out if conditions are likely to be better at Heavenly or Squaw/Northstar... I'm about to switch locations to Ridge Tahoe since I may not be able to join the family and they'll need decent mountain access without their chauffeur. But if the conditions look bad, then....

I only have until tonight to decide... help....

It is so long ago that we went downhill skiing so I hope somebody else will respond. Try OY as there are many skiers there who own at Timber Lodge or other resorts. The Hyatt Incline lodge is closer to North Star.

It's raining today in the Bay area. That bodes well for Tahoe snow.

I think you will be ok if you stick to South Lake Tahoe. It is raining here in SF now which will add more snow to Tahoe tomorrow and the next day. Then they say on 3-26-07 there might be a chance for more rain, which means more snow to South Lake Tahoe and all the other resort towns that were mentioned in the previous post.

I been in the Haight in SF for most of the day and its been raining and then turning to mist then back to rain for a few good hours.

So as long as we don’t have a heat wave, there should be a lot of snow in the high Sierras

We are expecting a cold storm to come in to northern California, which means about one to two feet of new snow in Tahoe by Wednesday. That will make good skiing conditions for Tahoe.
