  • Potter Valley, California, where is it and what resorts are near?

Our daughter and son-in-law are going to be in a wedding in Potter Valley and they need a timeshare for that busy week of events. Which timeshares are closest? The only thing I know is it is 3 hours north of San Francisco. Sounds kinda like it is in the boondocks to me. I told our daughter that July 7th is going to be hard to get.

Thanks for all your help in advance.

I had to look up where Potter Valley is since I've never heard of it. They aren't going to find any timeshares close. The closest would probably be in Windsor, which mapquest shows as 1 hour 20 minutes away.

      Thanks, Luanne!

Our daughter was thinking of Clear Lake, which is about the same distance as what you found. They have to spend an entire week for bachelor parties and wedding shower. They just had a new baby 7 1/2 weeks ago, so going to the wedding is going to be a financial strain. Timeshare seemed a good solution for accommodations, but maybe not.

Laura is spoiled with timeshare, we have owned since she was a baby herself. The luxury of having a kitchen is not just convenience, but is a really money savings. If I can get them a two bedroom, some other people in the wedding could stay with them and carpool back and forth.

We stayed at Lake Tahoe for a wedding in Eldorado Hills, California. The distance was okay because we only had to go down three times for Rick's brother's wedding. Tahoe was worth the drive back. It was absolutely perfect up there for us. We really enjoyed the unit at Ridge at Tahoe and the amenities, too. The view was fabulous.
