Yes, I agree, we were there for a day when DH had a conference in Reno - it was the first week of October and at the time I had said to him I would like to go back in early September.

I couldn't find a floor plan of the unit - but did find a floorplan for the fractional ownership - I wonder if they are all the same units?
My confirmation says 'developer' which must be why these prime weeks were made available.

At this resort there are units available to WorldMark and Fairfield owners. There are also a set of fractional units where the owners have 4 weeks available every year. Trendwest's attempt at selling these fractionals were flawed, so they were unable to sell all of them. A few of those units were given to Fairfield and the rest may be used for rentals and last minute deposits into these exchange companies.

Here are a few tidbits about the resort at South Shore:
    • This resort is off CA-50, on the Nevada side.
    • About 2 miles North of the casinos
    • Nevada beach state park (including campgrounds) just a half mile from the resort.
    • Paved bike/walk path to the beach starts from in front of the resort.
    • Across the highway from the resort there is a neat shopping center that includes Safeway and Round Table Pizza
    • Large pool ; hot tub
    • Lobby area has a large room with fireplace, pool table, ping pong table
    • Large exercise room
    • Video arcade/game room
    • There is no shuttle service between the casinos (Shuttle stop is at the shopping center)
    Hope this helps.

I found a floor plan last might of the fractional ownership units - and the 3BRs look very nice.
Is that the unit I will be getting?
In other words, are all the unts the same or is there a seperate 'fractional' building/units?

And can we walk across to the shopping center to get the Casino Shuttles?
I am assuming that these are free rides?

If you ever want to look up reviews for Worldmark Resorts go here WorldMark Owners Community click on Worldmark Resorts from main page and there are reviews, candid pics and lots of other great info including square footage for each unit size in each resort. Good stuff. I think you will like your exchange.
