I was wondering the same...the whole town was evacuated.
It came within a mile of where we live and many were evacuated.
My sister down in Del Mar also had to evacuate.
Our friends house in Green Valley Lake by Lake Arrowhead may not be there tomorrow morning.
Fortunately not many deaths or injuries.....property can be replaced.

II has no warnings listed under their Travel Advisory, and there are still weeks showing at the Riviera Oaks Resort. Nov. check-in. Maybe they will post something today.
4ARedOctober....What a shame! I hope that everything works out for you, and your family and friends. Glad to hear that there have not been many injuries or deaths.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.
We own at San Diego Country Estates in Ramona so I'm very anxious to hear something.
Me too. I called this AM & got Platinum Interchange, the mgmt co.. The resort is still standing but very much in danger. The whole town has been evacuated. That's all they could tell me.
I checked with the management company on this resort which has also been evacuated. Reports are still sketchy at this time but the resort seems to be standing. They are trying to confirm this but is difficult to get anyone near the area, obviously. They have no idea on the extent of damage, if any.
"I live in Barona Mesa and have driven around the SDCE area including the entire length of Ramona Oaks. No homes have burned. Lots of things have blown over in the wind. Fire has burned up to the homes that abut the mountains but nothing looks burnt. There are alot of people in this area though I am very concerned about looting. We were looted during the Cedar fire and don't want to see this happen to anyone. There needs to be a police presence here-Holly"
As far as other timeshares that could be threatened:
Carlsbad, Del Mar, and Solana Beach are in the 'Estimated advisory evacuation area'.
Escondido is in the 'Estimated evacuation area' and Welk could be in danger as the winds shift from off shore to on-shore.
Good to hear Ramona has survived so far.

Riviera Oaks has posted on their website that they are still standing with only minor damage, but need to do some clean-up. They are recommending that exchangers and owners call before coming, which seems like very sensible advice.
