I wonder how well it would actually trade with II. Generally, I don't think it will trade as well because of the quality factor. Having said that, who knows. The other thing would be the size issue as well because I believe those have purchased, did so by only purchasing a studio sized unit. I don't believe there was much diffence in trading power with RCI between studio/1BR/2BR sizes. That wouldn't be the case with II

A summer studio should be able to see 1 bedrooms in many cases. It won't get an AC in II bc they don't give them for studios. My other non-GC in II has done very well - I like that it sees the standard resorts my GC can't see. I deposited my Park City ski week studio in II a couple of years ago, and got a two bedroom in the Berkshires over New Year's with it... Whether or not we use it, I am thrilled to see another place go bi. And owners with larger units will undoubtedly benefit from a switch -- they'll likely get an AC for starters...

I was wondering what I was going to do with my new 1BR that I picked up. Guess this answers that question.

In a previous newsletter, it said something about maybe getting some membership deals as a result of this new afiliation. Did this most recent letter provide any more info on this? I haven't received our newsletter yet.

The newsletter said that "introductory pricing" is available. I'm guessing you could negotiate the same rate on an extension if you are already a member, and that would also eliminate the $39 to add it to your account; not sure what they are offering, but let us know if you find out!

Once you add it to an II account, you can easily check to see how it would trade because you can search without actually depositing. I love that feature in II.

My San Clemente Inn summer 1 bedroom weeks do not trade nearly as well in II as compared with RCI. Hopefully Sand Pebbles would do better for you.

I had forgotten that I was supposed to report back. However, I'm sure by now that you've received the same 2 or 1 offer that I got. It was pay for 1 year of membership and get the second one free.
