When one exchanges into the Laguna Surf do they get the unit deposited by the exchanger or are they put into the back of the building on busy PCH? I heard from an owner they normally do not get the beach front area....now lawren posted that she exchanged in and got the beach front unit. What is the policy?

    Beachside

We were given the unit on our RCI confirmation. I want to say the even numbers are oceanside and not PCH but it's been a while and that data file in my mind may now be corrupt.

I also don't know if our Preferred Status had anything to do with it. Laguna Surf is one of our sister resorts.

Emmy owns there so she should be able to clear this up for you.

      Thanks Lawren

I have tried to use PSE to get into LS during the summer and it seemed virtually impossible. I rarely see it off season in RCI as well.

I am sure Emmy will chime in here....but that is an important fact that you get the unit that was deposited....nice. What time of year did you get the exchange?

John, you get the unit that the exchanger deposited. This is the way it has always been but to be sure, call the front desk.

I didn't use PSE for the exchange. I used RCI BUT we do have a "family resort preference" within RCI exchange.

Easter. So end of March/begining of April. Summers would be very tough to get.
