    Greetings from Laguna Surf, Laguna Beach CA

    Travel was uneventful and we arrived just after 3PDT to check into unit 301. While unit is street side, it is also on the top floor and the corner unit on the south side of the building. Lovely unblocked views of the ocean and coast from the deck. If you get the opportunity to get a trade in here summer and can't get oceanside units this is not a bad unit to get!

    Having lived in various parts of NYC for 35 years the PCH traffic is not an issue. The town was MOBBED yesterday. The art festival is in full swing. We'll see what I'm up to physically as yesterday took a lot out of me. Was in bed and asleep by 7 Local.

    Will be going up the beach for breakfast at the Penguin later and then to see Dear Old Dad.

    Hey girl, good to hear from you. I was thinking of you last night and wondering WHY I hadn't heard from you...now I know.

      Good for you. We stayed in 207 last year which is on the corner unit on the north side with a huge deck and no one above. We also got ocean views from there. We just closed the windows at night and cranked up the air condition.

        Lawren....Good to hear from you, and to know that you arrived safely. Your unit sounds great with full ocean views, and all.

        Also very glad to hear that the traffic wasn't an issue. That's a bit of a relief to me.

        Enjoy your breakfast, and your visit with dad. Keep us posted!

        BTW, this showed up in II this morning, but I didn't take it. Not sure if I should be kicking myself, or not. I actually went back to grab it about 10 minutes after I originally saw it, but it had already been taken.

          Cute place and just a few blocks south of where I am. Units are set back from PCH and the ones that have views are spectacular.

              Hey Lawren, Good to hear from you (and nice to see that a little vacation time doesn't keep you away from your job of posting sightings )

                  Laguna is my second home, I have just managed to trade-in this time. It is easier than staying with DOD.

                  The testosterone crowd is still snoring away, so ex-ops it is!

                  PS Angela, We of course had to wait to be last off the plane and had to sit thru 3 buses before one had the handicap ramp working to take to us to rental car. Still in car and on freeway by 2PM. Traffic non-issue although much later than that would have been. You will love Virgin.

                          Try using your Camera phone, I have but rare gotten a good picture and it is fast to email to your computer.
