  • It's a Small World

You never know who you'll run into. DW and I were taking a walk along the beach a couple days ago by the resort we were staying at (Laguna Surf) and happened to run into Iconnections by accident. Talk about coincidences.

      A small world indeed!

Yes, it was a big surprise and we walked the beach together for a little while but I was on the way to the store so had to go up the steps to cross the road but I still saw the sunset on my way back on the beach again. It was a lovely sunset that night but I didn't have a camera.

We were also staying in Laguna Beach thanks to ArtsieAng who gave us the rest of the week to stay at Laguna Shores as she and DH had to go home early. This was so generous of them and we really enjoyed our stay. I will upload some pictures of this resort on the photo server here but here is a link of the pictures already for now.

Gordon and his wife must like this beach too as we met them here last year and we will be back in November again. It is our favorite spot in the world. However, there is a lot more kelp on the beach because our kelp forest keeps on growing right in front of the main beach. It may be great for the fish and birds as we see more species now but I don't like the looks of it.

We also saw a whale this week and I looked it up if that was possible. They have been spotted in November. Here are some whale watching tours that may be interesting to take when someone visits this area.

Here is the Live Cam from Hotel Laguna on the beach of this very popular beach town so it gives you an idea what the weather is like. We keep the Web Cam on our desktop. This photo image was taken a few minutes before. It looks sunny today but it's windy. We have a Santa Ana so fire danger is high again.

Both small timeshares (Laguna Shores and Laguna Surf) are very close to this main beach and you can easily walk it.

        What a great story.

Thanks for the links and the web cam Emmy. I added it to our CA beaches sticky.
