  • Greetings from Laguna Beach

It's our yearly visit to our "home away from home" (Laguna Surf) and the weather has been OK so far but we are expecting rain this afternoon and some more days this week. We need the rain badly so I am not complaining so long we do not get floods after our fires we recently had. There are flood warnings already and people have to leave their homes in these areas I just heard on the news and this during Thanksgiving week.

We had terrible fires (pictures) the last two years when we came here in October so we made it later this year but then the weather is iffy. Right now the sun is still out so I am going to make my walk on the beach pretty soon. I have to go alone because it is too hard for my husband to walk on the sand.

We have the fireplace on and we love staying here even after so many years. It is still our favorite place and so close to home!

    Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!

      Hey Emmy,

Hope you have a great time. It should be a short storm. How did you like last evenings sunset? Amazing wasn't it?

Take care and say hello to Peter.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Yes, that was a spectacular sunset that night but we had two more this week. It rained very hard during the night and it started blowing too but not for long.

Here are some pictures but they do not do it justice to the way it really was.

On our way to Heisler Park on the bluff.

                      I love these red flowers!

It was a little late to take these pictures but it looked so nice.

We love the view of the bay from here too.

Bird of Paradise is another stunning flower in sunny southern California.

Our walk back on the boardwalk of main beach.

One last photo of a spectacular sunset that night.

                        Emmy,
All your pictures are little red xes on a little box. Couldn't open them.

Peace be with you, Emmy and Peter.
We wish we could visit that beach. In your pictures it always looks so lovely, and I know pictures never do justice.

                            Thanks for sharing.
