The summer studio weeks here trade great through RCI. I am afraid that they would not fare as well in II because of their size.

A studio won't see high season 2 bedrooms in II. I can see some 1 bedrooms, depending. They will also apply a quality filter but if you are interest in more "standard" resorts, it will let you see things that the "rated" places don't.

You can add it to your II account (and they are offering incentives including a free bonus week with membership by 8/31) without depositing and do searches.

Might be worthwhile given the rumored changes coming to RCI, then you will have options.

Though based on the pics Pat posted, I may consider actually using my week one of these days!! Thanks, Pat

Does anyone see a reason that this resort wont go to a least silver crown when completed? It matters now when RCI is handing out the "exchange" points.

I just checked and it has not changed with II however using the point calculator on RCI will show you they REALLY love this resort in the summer. You will not be disappointed.

yeah, I already own 5 studio weeks.. that used to get me into anything for so call summer.. now I am several points short for the resorts I like to visit. they give a few extra points for silver and gold crown, so I was hoping for a little bump up

This is a welcomed update to this nice resort. My Hawaii resort is a sister property with this one, with access to bonus time at the rental fees previously quoted in this thread. I've stayed there once (summer 06) and loved the location.

Rennos impact

Did anyone notice that Sand Pebbles is now a silver crown resort with RCI.? The rennos definitely made a difference there. With RCI's new weeks system, it seems that status has a bit more impact than previous. AND the rooms are a lot nicer to stay in now.

Just bumping this up....as I received and email from realtor Clare@timesharelocators.com - they have high season studios for $500 and 1BRs for $1,000 - just thought I would post in case anyone is interested. Great RCI trader and nice resort to stay at - visited and saw all units - they are very spacious and nice.
