I just checked in today. This place is fantastic. I was walking across the dining room and I saw the refrigerator shaking like a washing machine. Now on the news they are reporting a 4.7 quake.

Welcome to California!
If I remember correctly-last time you were here you either went on a tour or were interested in seeing the San Andreas Fault line. Nothing like the real thing, eh?
Our local weather geek showed us a map of earthquakes in the USA over the past 7 days. I don't know how it compares to any other week but there have been a lot of quakes.
No, it wasn't a big earthquake but it sure felt like one in some coastal community areas and it made a lot of noise. We didn't know what to expect further. It shook us up but no damage except for paintings hanging crooked.
Long Beach had two big storefront windows broken and there was damage at one of the movie theaters too closer to where the earthquake was.
Yes I did want to see the San Andreas Fault line. Well I guess San Andreas was talking to me this time!

Hey Emmy.....I hope you are not too shook up. It was just a little rock n roll here in central OC. Nothing to write home about.
Take care. Keep your earthquake kits up to date.
