Big Bear suggestions

Lagonita Lodge, Snow Lake Lodge or Worldmark??
I want to be walking distance from the lake and i know Lagonita is on the lake but how far are the others?
Which is best for smaller children age 4 & 5?
Is it really crowded in the summer months?

In this order:

1. Lagonita Lodge-on the lake. Fabulous for kids. Lot's of planned activities, boat rides, scavanger hunts, root beer floats, great game/rec room, etc.

2. Worldmark-on/just off Big Bear Blvd. Nice units. Outdoor pool (Lagonita's is indoor)
WM usually has some sort of activites schedule. Rec room.

3. Snow Lake Lodge...this would honestly be a last resort choice for me. Nothing exciting going on here and dated units if I am not mistaken.

4 & 5 year olds would LOVE Lagonita-try to get that if you can. Yes, Lagonita will be busy in the summer-but lots of families-lots of fun. My kids are 13 & 17 and even they had fun participating in the activities.
