Fort Myers Beach and The Seawatch Timeshare Resort

We were in Fort Myers Beach and at the Seawatch Resort from 12/12/2009 to 12/19/2009.

The weather was great, Sunny with Temps in the mid 80's. The Seawatch Resort is on the Beach of Fort Myers Beach. The one Bedrooms are all Ocean/Gulf Front Units. The beach is very deep, large, and is a nice walking beach. Check out the slide show to see how deep it is. l would go back to this resort again.

We also found some great Restaurants in and around Fort Myers Beach . We liked the Bayfront Bistro the best. The Bistro is located behind the Publix which is about a mile north of the Seawatch on Estero Blvd.

We also liked the Green Flash of Captiva Island.

You can always find a Green Bay Packer's bar somewhere outside of Wisconsin. Fort Myers Beach's Packer Bar happens to be at The Parrot Key.

I good time can be had, day or night, at Time Square of Fort Myers Beach.

Times Square is considered the heart of Estero Island's downtown. Full of shops and restaurants, Times Square features outdoor dining, street performers, and plenty of spots to sit down and relax.

We had a 5:53 pm flight to go home and we went to the the Edison & Ford Winter Estates for 2 1/2 hours in the morning before our flight. It was worth seeing.

Nicest resort on FMB. An HGVC . . . no longer available through RCI, post 5/30.

I recently talked to that resort mgr about that problem, to no avail. I got passed on to other in HGVC, and no one else picked up on it.

Good to hear Walt, know many of the restaurants you speak of, the Green Flash on Captiva is great, the wife & I need to go visit again, been awhile sinse we've been there. We go to Times Square often when we have guests visit us for a week or two durin' season & you need to try SOB next time your down, nice place for lunch or dinner.

Why is this no longer available with RCI?

I can't imagine RCI would drop this nice resort would they?

On 5/30 Black Saturday, during the website disenhancement, 60% of the SW FL availability disappeared, from 600+ to 230-250, including almost all of anything from the top 22 resorts, mostly HGVCs.
