Emergency-Orlando 3br next week

Hello,

We reserved a getaway week through interval for 3br at Star Island resort Jan 16-23. My wifes mother became diagnosed terminal and is currently in hospice care with @2 weeks to live. We cannot cancel but can transfer the unit.

Moderator or anyone on this forum know the best place to offer this? paid 1075 for week hoping to get back 700obo.

I'm very sorry for your situation.

If you signed up for the travel insurance, it should cover everything.. You'll have to provide a letter from the hospice, but you won't be out any money..

Hi,

Unfortunately we did not get the insurance because another family member made the booking for us, however, a very kind representative at Interval International named Ronny was very understanding and accommodating and re-scheduled out reservations for us in March.

A heavy burden was lifted from our family at this difficult time and we're very grateful for their gesture.
